So I will be embarking on a journey, firstly I will have to survive the month, but if all goes well, it might be a lifestyle change.
It is said that it takes about 21 days to change habits, so here are new habits being formed. And we will see how far I go…
The end of the month is just around the corner but in preparation for that date, I will be preparing myself, clearing alot of mental and general clutter for e.g. for the mind- a 21 brain training will be the focus, to not only reprogram toxic thoughts but also deepen my relationship with Christ and also strengthen my pray life… *This will be an interesting journey but very beneficial.
So below I will sum up exactly how this alternative lifestyle is going to be done…
- Spiritual wise- Spend more time praying, more time with God (thanking and praising him) and more time being grateful for the life I have and the blessing- seen and unseen that I have been blessed with.
- Relationship wise- I have said it for a long time now but I think time away from those you love really has an adverse effect on one. for e.g. Now I know who my real friends are… and those are the people I clique with… my sisters and mom have been such strong pillars- so definitely strengthen that relationship with them, and my romantic relationship, not too get too emotionally invested I lose myself but appreciate I can love someone without losing myself in the process. And all round relationships with people. Remembering to do unto others as I would want them to do unto me.
- Fashion wise- I will take on a french approach to fashion- less is more… so time to de-clutter my closet and live on basics… only spurge will be on accessories because everyone knows they make an outfit.
- Beauty wise- Will be heading into the kitchen… yes the kitchen, its so interesting and also very fascinating and also a treasure trove for any beauty regiment know to man… So head into that kitchen girl… you don’t know what you might find…
- And lastly health-wise- Getting back in shape and looking after this body, both inside and out, so first thing to be added to my new lifestyle is LOTS AND LOTS of H2O- YUMMY :/ lol.. but yes water, water and more water… also a good supplement.
So I will be documenting this journey and blogging about it and see how it goes in the long run.
This will be fun but also a challenge but I look forward to going through this, guess it was one of those things that was long overdue to be done.
